The Youth Excelling and Attaining Housing (YEAH) Program is an 18-month housing subsidy program intended to support youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, are in financial need, and feel ready, with support, to live independently.

The aim of the program is to support youth with working towards overall wellness, stability, and integration with their community so that they are capable and feel confident in maintaining market housing on their own once they complete the YEAH Program.

Who can participate? Youth who:

Life-Skills & Support

Program participants meet with the YEAH Program Case Manager regularly, attend monthly group sessions, and stay connected with another professional who provides them with support.

Independence & Goals

Program participants work towards financial stability and set goals related to education, employment, substance use, housing, physical health, mental health, hobbies, interests, and social goals.

Commitment & Growth

The program invites youth to voluntary commit to meeting the program requirements in order to foster well-being and support their path forward in life.

YEAH Parenting Program

 

The YEAH Parenting Program (formerly known as TTIPII) follows the same principles and guidelines as the YEAH Program. It is specifically designed for homeless pregnant or parenting youth between the ages of 16 and 24.

This 18-month program provides housing support and rental subsidies for youth who are navigating challenges related to substance use, mental health, and parenting. With a strong focus on building self-reliance, the program offers support in developing life skills, critical thinking, and healthy community relationships.
