Eastside Integrated Youth Outreach

The Eastside Integrated Youth Team, funded by Vancouver Coastal Health, and City of Vancouver. They support vulnerable youth ages 12-24 with outreach, counselling referrals, one to ones, and food pantry.

YEAH Programs

Yeah Program & Yeah Parenting Program:
The Youth Excelling and Attaining Housing (YEAH) Program offers 18-month housing subsidies to youth without stable housing or at risk of losing their homes. It promotes wellness, stability, and community integration, preparing participants to confidently maintain independent housing. The YEAH Parenting Program provides young parents with additional support, combining housing stability with resources to strengthen parenting skills and create nurturing family environments.

S.T.A.R. Program for Kids

Stop, Think, Assess, & Respond” (S.T.A.R. Program) educates grades 4-7 across Greater Vancouver on drugs, safety, and community using interactive quizzes and role plays. Adapting since 2000, it addresses vaping, social media, and other relevant issues, building resiliency and healthy decision-making.

ICOP Program

The ICOP Program at Watari provides intensive one-on-one support services tailored for Aboriginal youth. It includes outreach, activity-based counselling, and life skills support within trusting relationships between youth and their dedicated worker.

The Passages Program

Offers workshops and events designed for self-identified urban Indigenous girls aged 12-16, currently residing in the foster care system.
